We can not believe in GOD based on pure reasons because we cannot know anything about the connection between the " supersensible" realm he inhibits and our own. Those who have spoken confidently of GOD`s nature or their experience with him have all fallen victim to transcendental illusion, taking an idea to a real presence.
That leaves the question: whether GOD is a mere fiction, a phantom of our imaginations or a hypothesis we cannot live without?
The needs of reason are genuine and legitimate but " I have found it necessary to deny knowledge, in order to make room for faith."It is inconsequential whether GOD is there or not highly developed, highly deciplined conception of GOD is absolutely crucial for ordering reason.("practical employment")
We can not prove or disprove whether GOD exists or not because that is beyond our limit. But for the sake of living morally, nobly we should succumb to higher power.
IT IS NOT A QUESTION OF REASON, IT IS A QUESTION OF NEED.
