"I tell a story. Everybody needs a story to live on. I don`t know why solitude would be a balm for loneliness, but that is how it always is for me in these days."

"I don`t know, but whenever I write I feel I am with you, whatever that can mean, considering that I am only young fellow now and when I am a grown man everyone including myself may find these stories of no interest. Or they might never reach you, for any of a number of reasons. Well, but now deeply I regret any sadness you have suffered and how grateful I am in anticipation of any good you have enjoyed. That is to say, I pray for you. And there`s an intimacy in it.
